

ABOUT ME
I develop digital solutions across a variety of systems, focusing on systems programming in C and general-purpose development in Python. I have gained experience in corporate software development projects involving multiple programming languages and frameworks, as well as through a range of personal DIY projects tinkering with hardware and embedded systems.
Over time, I became particularly interested in low-level programming and the structure of systems that form the foundation of computers. A university module on systems programming in C sparked this interest and led me to further develop my skills in this area. I believe that anyone who truly wants to understand machines should experience programming at the system level and C is a really good language for that.
The Synesthesia Project
One of my key personal projects is the Synesthesia Project (formerly Jerome), a scalable lighting control system developed for light jockeys (LJs) and embedded enthusiasts. Built primarily in C and powered by a Raspberry Pi, the system enables users to control custom LED-strip configurations and extend the built-in effect library through a structured backend interface.
The project also includes a real-time FFT spectrum module, allowing developers to create audio-reactive lighting effects. By using the integrated FFT pipeline, users can easily access live frequency data and build dynamic, music-synchronized effects without handling the low-level signal processing and subprocess management themselves.
